The East Coast – Massachusetts
We spent two days in Massachusetts seeing a number of scenic locations. My father grew up in South Weymouth and we were able to visit his old home town and stomping grounds. We found a great place to see the sunset at the World’s End park. During this leg we got to see Nokska Lighthouse, Quisset Harbor, South Cape Beach, Nantasket Beach, and more.

New Hampshire
Starting in the beautiful town of Conway. We stayed in this town for about a week during our New Hampshire visit. This allowed us to plan the best day for a Mount Washington visit. The pictures below are from around Conway and other locations near by in New Hampshire.

Mount Washington
The main destination for our visit. The view was worth the nerve racking drive up the auto road. When we arrived the road was closed at the 4000ft point. It had snowed the night before and they weren’t sure if they could clear the road. We stopped at that point and got pictures. After some time they had successfully cleared the road and we were able to continue to the summit. I also saved the dashcam video of the drive up and down. Use the link below to view all the Mount Washington pictures plus the YouTube video I made.

Nubble Light and Sokokis Lookout
– Maine
Nubble Lighthouse (Cape Neddick Light) – York, Maine
Perched on a small rocky island just offshore from Cape Neddick Point in York, Maine, Nubble Lighthouse is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the United States. Its classic white tower and black lantern sit surrounded by crashing surf and open Atlantic views, making it a must-see coastal landmark—especially at sunrise, sunset, and during stormy seas.
Sokokis Lookout – Limerick, Maine
Sokokis Lookout (sometimes called the Limerick Scenic Overlook) is a roadside scenic viewpoint in Limerick, Maine, offering wide-open views over Lake Sokokis, rolling countryside, and surrounding hills. On a clear day, it’s even possible to spot Mount Washington in the distance, making it a surprisingly rewarding stop for such an easy pull-off.
