Fall Creek Falls State Park

Fall Creek Falls State Park is one of Tennessee’s largest and most visited state parks, located on the Cumberland Plateau between Spencer and Pikeville. Covering more than 29,000 acres, the park is known for its rugged gorges, forested ridges, waterfalls, and scenic overlooks that showcase the natural beauty of the region. It offers a wide range of outdoor experiences including hiking, scenic drives, lake recreation, and wildlife viewing.

The park’s most famous feature is Fall Creek Falls itself, one of the tallest waterfalls in the eastern United States, along with several other notable cascades such as Piney Falls, Cane Creek Falls, and Rockhouse Falls. In addition to its natural attractions, the park includes campgrounds, cabins, a lodge, and miles of trails, making it a year-round destination for outdoor recreation and scenic exploration in Tennessee.
